The flasher set consists of an electronic unit, three red and one green flashing light emitting diode. The system features two different flashing sequences, in which two diodes flash simultaneously at all times. In spite of the low current drain, the light radiation of the diodes is very intense over a conical range of about 24 degrees, and is visible in daylight at a considerable distance. At twilight the flashing lights are visible over a distance of hundreds of metres. One red and one green diode act as position lights, while the two further red diodes are intended as anti- collision lights. When connected to a vacant receiver output the flashing light can be switched on and off from the transmitter. The set is then powered by the receiver battery. The lights are intended primarily for use in model aircraft in general and helicopters in particular. The wire lengths can be altered.
