Airborne particles of sand and dust can quickly wear your engine out. Especially when these particles find their way in sliding or spinning engine parts, results for the two take-engine can be disastrous. To prevent this, your engine’s equipped with an air filter that should be treated with air filter oil before use. Little particles adhere to this ‘sticky’ oil, hereby preventing engine damage. Before usage, evenly mount a few millimeters of oil to the air filter. Knead softly into the filter. It may now feel sticky, but no surplus of oil should come out when you clench the filter. Too much oil reduces the filter’s air intake and the engine’s optimum running. |
